Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother as is Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was accepted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 70s, where she studied the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. The money she earned came from the student allowance, and relied in part-time jobs to increase her income. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox began her career in 1976 as a member of the band Dragons Playground. The group did not make it to the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. In this band, she was met by Dave Stewart. Together they would form their own group, the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox then began to work on her debut solo album Diva, which was released around 1992. This album became a huge hit with regard to sales and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was launched in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tunes. Also, in May of 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera an album of four improvised piano tracks. The E.P. This is the companion album to her album Now I Let you go... artwork which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first self-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a social activist, philanthropist, and singer. The latter part of the 70s was when she achieved minor fame as the lead singer in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox launched her solo career by releasing her debut album Diva in the year 1992. It was the basis of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her album in 1995. studio, features version covers of No MoreI Love Yous or The Whiter Shade of Pale. Six studio albums by her solo, plus one compilation album are to her credit.
