Lucy Lawless is a well-known actress and musician born in New Zealand. She's most popularly recognized in her profession for her outstanding performances in a variety of top-rated television shows and films, such as Xena: Warrior Princess, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena as well as Spartacus: The Vengeance. As an actress she is best known and loved for the amazing role that she played in Xena. Lucy ended up playing the role as Vanessa Angel after Vanessa was in a coma and could not participate in the shooting. Her success as Xena was the catalyst for a follow-up show, which debuted in September of 1995. Lucy is now a renowned actor due to the popularity in the sequel. Aside from becoming widely known as Xena by many fans, she's also recognized by her regular roles as Diane Lewis-Swanson in the hit sitcom on NBC Parks and Recreation during which she starred from 2012 until 2015.
